‘A GREAT AFTERNOON’

What a fantastic afternoon we all had last Sunday the 4th July at ‘The Mapleton Centre’ raising funds for Jenny and Laurie that are heading over to VANA for long term mission!

Lots of people arrived… everyone started off by bidding on the silent auction and a fantastic afternoon tea…thankyou to the kitchen team at “The Mapleton Centre”.  We certainly didn’t go hungry and we would be surprised if people even ate dinner that night! The food was divine!

Once we were in our teams the trivia began and if was SO much fun!

The people really made the afternoon…we all knew why we were there…we were there to support Jenny and Laurie in the mission God has given them…for Jenny and Laurie to know that they have support…prayerfully and financially AND that we all believe in what they are doing!

The people and the children at VANA are excited and are preparing for Jenny and Laurie to arrive and Gods timing is just always SO perfect….at times we try to rush ahead of HIM and we all know that when we do….things just don’t go the way they should.

Jenny and Laurie are obediently doing what God has put on their hearts and the doors are opening…..
