Rebekah Allen who, with her husband Dion, were the first mission team to live at VANA, received a letter from one of her African mothers this week …..
‘I pray for you because you made my life to be as easy as cutting a knife through porridge’ … ‘from the time I met you, you took all my problems to make yours and to me life started to get easier especially by the time you took all my kids to the program.’
This is a testament to how important child sponsorship is. Having her children in the Vana program has changed her life. If you are thinking of sponsoring a child please don’t hesitate there are children who need your support and help.
These children are given a substantial meal every day, clothes to wear, shoes, socks, medical help when necessary-when you choose to sponsor a child. They also receive letters from you and find out that someone in the world cares about them. This gives them hope for a future – they are the future for Africa!
